This thread is complete bull****. The battlereport from MS is below. Yes they got jumped but they had no supercarriers on the field at the time. I suggest the bull**** about SC's tackled is to get the NC to form up a jesus blob a little quicker. Anyway the BR....
------------ We get pinged by a small neutral group that got their POS sieged by NC in Pakkonen and wanted to know if we'd lend a hand. Initial sieging group wasn't that large, but NC are good at scheduled form-ups, so we figure they may be a bit larger. CH gang is ~40 rr BS and a dozen support.
We watch for a bit, get sidetracked trying to go fight a nearby Rooks & Kings gang (who mostly just see us and say yeah right), and eventually get word NC has shown up at the POS. ~20 dreads, 4 carriers, and a few dozen support (~10 BS). Two NC gangs reported incoming, but they're both a few jumps out still, so in we go.
We land on the hostile capital group and tackle dreads and carriers. One carrier jumps out and we melt the other Thanatos. Quickly switch to the Chimera and apply the same to him. Before we can get through the third one, however, the first NC gang jumps in and the system turns to sludge. Local hits ~160 and we're cycling guns to apply any damage. Everything... slows.... way.... down.
We've got a hostile archon in low armor but need to turn attention to subcaps for a bit. Lock up targets and slam half a dozen battleships down. System is complete sludge, but generally we can alpha out battleships, though whoever gets the final blow is out of the fight for a while of course. After scouring half a dozen of the local battleships we catch a couple of the enemy logistics and pop these then go back to the enemy archon.
Second hostile group arrives and cyno goes up. Local well over 200 now. We figure they'll be stuck on the gridload and stay on the archon. Hostile carriers do eventually make it in, though they're as lagged out as we are. We kill the archon and they.. warp out.
We burn back into better range on the dreads and start working on a moros but the system is still sludge. Pop a couple enemy subcaps but they give a warp-in to the hostile dread fleet and all the carriers warp back in and start repping and lending fighters. At this point we decide we're unlikely to break much more and align out. Kill a couple tackle that get to close, lose a dominix that is too far, and leave the field.
Total Kills / Losses pretty light considering how many ships involved, but that's sadly par for the course with larger lowsec battles.
Kills: 3 Carrier, 7 BS, 1 BC, 2 Logistic, 1 Bomber, 1 Cruiser, 1 Inty Losses: 3 BS
